The Saranac Lake Area Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1921 as the community's leading advocate for business. The mission of the Saranac Lake Area Chamber of Commerce is to provide services and representation for its membership and to generate economic development through promotional and marketing strategies. The Chamber provides business-building initiatives that focus on the critical priorities of the Saranac Lake community.

The annual meeting of the Chamber is held in June where new board members and officers are introduced.
