About the Band
Driftwood brings their dynamic blend of folk rock and Americana to North Country New Year at Harrietstown Town Hall. Renowned for their energetic performances, Driftwood continues to push the boundaries of modern folk music while staying true to their bluegrass roots.

Formed in Binghamton, NY, Driftwood began in Joe Kollar’s parents’ basement as a high school project. Over time, the group expanded to include violinist Claire Byrne, bassist Joey Arcuri, and drummer Sam Fishman. Their latest album, December Last Call, reflects on the band’s personal growth while experimenting with bold new sounds, including hard-rocking electric guitars and driving percussion.

Driftwood is no stranger to Saranac Lake, having performed at Pendragon Theatre during the 2013 New Year’s Eve festival.
