Join us for a special brunch celebration of Octoberfest, the Harvest, and the Adirondack Rail Trail in our Lake View Great Camp amidst a majestic view of Lake Clear and the iconic St. Regis Mountain range. 

Add to the experience by exploring the 25 acres of one of the last of the original Adirondack Great Camps by taking part in one of our special activities!

Drive or bike to our brunch celebration! We’re 15 minutes away from Saranac Lake by car, 25 minutes from Lake Placid, or just shy of 7 miles from Saranac Lake and 16 miles from Lake Placid on the new Adirondack Rail Trail that intersects our property! 

Savor a prix-fixe Octoberfest brunch menu while you enjoy a view of Lake Clear and Saint Regis Mountain from inside our Lake View Great Camp or outside on the patio! Includes Pretzel Sticks with our signature mustard, entree, and dessert—$29 Per Person.

Plus, we’ll have Octoberfest Beers, Old World Wines, Mimosas, Coffee, Hot Teas, & Specialty Mocktails available for you to add on!

11:00 AM - 2:00 PM: Specialty Horse-drawn Stagecoach Rides

Percheron Draft Horses Jasper & Fly Providing a Stagecoach Ride During the Fall.

Ride in an authentic 1850s Stagecoach with Lucky Clover and their majestic Percheron Draft Horses through our nature trails to one of the Adirondack’s most picturesque mountain-lake beaches. Beware, though–this is the 1800s: you may be robbed while on your Stagecoach ride! $39 Per Person.

2:30 PM: Old World Spaetzle Cooking Demonstration

Join Executive Chef Cathy Hohmeyer in the 1886 Stagecoach Dining Room for this ~30-minute cooking demonstration, where she will show you how to make this classic German recipe! Learn how to make it an appetizer, side dish, or even a meal while incorporating traditional food preparations that go back thousands of years—$20 Per Person.

3:00 PM: Myths & History of Octoberfest Beer Tasting

Join Ernest Hohmeyer in the 1920s Speakeasy for a 30-minute workshop on the Myths and History of Octoberfest while you savor six different Old World Beers. How did Octoberfest start? Was it always about beer? You must be 21 or older and have a valid ID to participate—$25 Per Person.
