Wild Neighbors Nature Connection presents: Young Naturalist Series: Birding for Connection

The focus on Peatland Habitat takes place Saturday May 25, 9:00am-11:00am.

This outing’s focus will be on noticing the connections between birds, insects, and our beautiful flowering bog plants. Observing life in the bog feels like an otherworldly experience! We’ll spend the majority of our time on the bog boardwalk. Play some games, develop nature awareness skills, and learn some bird language while enjoying a 1.5 mile walk on Boreal Life Trail with Naturalist Educator, Relational Birder, and Adirondack Guide Rich Hanlon.  There are a lot of things in today’s world that can make us feel isolated and alone, and birds can help us to feel connected and part of a community that is beautiful and good.

Designed for families with young people between the ages of 6-13, but there are no age restrictions.
