Located on the property of the Paul Smith's College Visitor Interpretive Center, anglers will park on the road and enjoy a short walk or snowshoe to Black Pond, where the fishing is excellent.

The Description
The Paul Smith's College Visitor Interpretive Center contains a number of ponds, streams, and trails, all of which are open to the public. Black Pond has a trail that goes all the way around it, so finding a place to get out on the ice shouldn't be a problem. There is also a lean-to on the shore if you're looking for a place to get out of the wind for a few minutes while your tip-ups do their thing.
