Mountain Biking at Dewey Mountain
Dewey Mountain Recreation Center features 5.5 miles of singletrack mountain bike trails which happily co-exist with roughly 7.5 miles of XC ski trails. Difficulty ranges from cruiser to hardcore as riders ascend about 450 vertical feet to the summit.
Dewey Mountain is owned by the Town of Harrietstown and operated by Adirondack Lakes and Trails Outfitters, with support from the Dewey Mountain Friends.
Getting there
Drive south out of Saranac Lake on NYS Rt 3. Look for the sign for Dewey Mountain Recreation Center on the left. Park and ride through the lodge breezeway. Large kiosk and map directly can be found at the base.

There are a variety of trails, which are stacked, meaning they get more difficult the farther you venture from the parking area.
