More than scenery

That's right! Our natural scenery is a year-round attraction, but there's more to this mountain village than its mountains.

Enjoy history with a self-guided tour of the village's unique "cure cottage" architecture, or join a walking tour that includes a stop in the Saranac Laboratory Museum. While you're downtown, visit the Adirondack Center for Loon Conservation to learn all about one of the most fascinating mammals in the Adirondacks. Take a quick ride out of town to Paul Smiths, home of the Paul Smith's College Visitor Interpretive Center, an amazing location with trails through different habitats with interpretive signage.

As an added bonus many of the attractions listed below regularly host some of the best events happening in the Adirondacks! It's easy to find something fun to do in Saranac Lake!
